Like everybody else on here it seems, my head is spinning!
When SOD was appointed, we were all very happy. We knew we'd be playing football in the correct manner. Let's not get too excited though. A season of rebuilding lay ahead for us. stay in the league. Happy with mid table.
We started making a few solid signings....

Well, now after 11 new signings. I can't help it ...., billy blöòdy sharp!!!!!
I am now officially very excited.
But with the quality in this division (yet again), I'm not sure what to hope for. My heart is saying, we can do it this year! But my head is saying.... Shef utd. Yeovil. Blackpool......
But come on.....
We've got owners who are doing everything we'd hoped for.
A manager who ticks all the boxes.
And now a true squad of quality!
My expectations.....
Playoffs, with a good tussle for the top 2!!!
But what are other peoples expectations now?
What a difference a few weeks make.

Dare to dream?!?

PS. Are there any areas that still need to be improved?
I've noted that a lot if balls are finding their way into our box from the oppositions left wing.
Have we done all we need to, to fill the void left by Gunter?

Obviously SOD needs to decide on his favoured starting eleven but I think defensive areas probably need more attention.
Hoping for a playoff place this season - but would still be happy with top ten and building from there.

Yes, those sun faded empty pink seat that have a habit of turning up and embarrassing you every week.
Tin pot, backwater club who have found a small pot of gold. You're nothing more than Wigan.

Ha ha look how gutted Iwas is!! Bothering to comment on a thread about our new signings! trying to convince himself they are somehow a bigger and better club!! Maybe we can give them a couple more freebies or reserves? Then he can convince himself that they have taken our best players again cause the pull of derby is so strong!
I can't see us fighting for top 2. We have a good squad but I don't think it's that good. Still happy with top 10, maybe top 6 and then keep building.

Iwas : those pink seats, housed within our historic iconic stadium, are hopefully gonna bare witness to some exciting times ahead.
Your shiny, new, lifeless, flat pack, shopping centre, with your ikea seats.... Well, there gonna have to put up with quite a lot of squeaking noises this season

Reds_are.....
I would agree with you. But..... And I still can't quite believe this..... billy sharp!!!
Cox is looking like a proper centre forward as well. Goals normally get you out of this league. We now look very strong up front.

Well excited, be happy with a play off place, as for Iwas stating we're no more than a wigan? I'd definitely settle for that they're in the premier league! Derrrrrr!!!!!!

We really should start ignoring Iwas and his tears.
I would expect top ten now - maybe the playoffs at best. I think the squad is getting there, but we are still lacking backup defenders - if we get a couple of injuries back there we'll be in trouble - and the defence especially still needs to gel. I still think we lack width - I understand Coppinger is a right winger, but I don't know enough about him to think that he's going to make the difference for us. We'll see - but this transfer window has been a huge step forward - Billy and Pep are two of teh best signings I remember as a Forest Fan. Last time I was so happy with a signing it was Bryan Roy I think.

Why don't you start first then Still?
Bit worried now eh guys. Promotion ain't going to be easy if the lowest financed team can stuff Watford.
You need promotion.
