big "miku"

is going to tear it up!!!

6ft1 quick agile powerful great shot on him can play upfront alone part of strikeforce or on right wing plus we have option to buy next summer

sounds pefect for us him and hooper will hopefully hit it off right away plus we have time to get them to know each other over international break

very happy with signings we made plus were stil after a striker who is out of contract its not michael owen but it might be ivan klasnic!

lenny got the defender and stiker we needed plus back up keeper aloong with forster its been good window

hail hail

oh also not nice to see a young winger retire at 23 shame

if matt mcglone is to be believed the striker we are after is not a name we will be familier with.....

so No Del Piero then

Is everyone sure its not Del Pierro's name more than the actual player of today thats getting everyone excited.
Had a glance at his stats recently and has been years since he was a high scorer.
If memory serves last season with Juve was along the lines of 3 goals in 28 appearances

He would bring so much more than goals to the team,he is still a class act.Can you imagine having him fr the group stages,0-0 away fi home against spartak Moscow in the dying minutes and we get a Free Kick,up steps Del Piero,Boom!

It's the experience and composure in attack that Del Piero would bring that are the positives.

The younger boys and even the likes of Hooper could learn a lot from him.

And we'd also get to say Del Piero was a Celtic player

I had thought on that also Jukebox.
From memory he could play a lone striker pretty good
Poses the question though how he would add to our other strikers if he plays the lone role himself as it goes without saying there will only be one up front in all the CL games
Suppose he could play in the hole but your welcome to be the one that tells Commons

posted on 1/9/12

He's twice as good as Commons, even at the age of 37

Maybe
Underpants man WAS great as well but everything ends at some point and often at haste. Too old for me but I dont want to be proved right am hoping I am wrong if he does sign for us or we never find out at all one way or the other if he doesent come

We don't need anyone else tbh, unless it's another CB.

DelPiero smacks of another one of Lawwells partypieces, pointless grandstanding.

Great player don't get me wrong, just shouldn't even be mentioned with a possible start for Celtic.
We have Paddy McCourt for trickery why oh why would we want another teams legend to take our hard-earned and breeze into retirement?

McCourt was poor last week against Caley.

He's just a super sub at SPL level, a cult/folk hero
