Michael Owen anyone?

Owen would be well worth bringing in. His experience would help our younger players, and he is a natural goalscorer. A pay as you play deal would be ideal.

Kash - the problem is that none of our young strikers are ready yet. Morgan is the furthest on and he is nowhere near ready.

TOOR, that is right to an extent but just we go for Owen, firstly he's no way near match fit, when he does get fit he will pick up an injury and by that time it will be January and we could buy another striker then.

Well that's the kind of risks we now have to take after we loaned our only striker out for the season for £2m. At least it's two million in the accounts, pity about not having a striker though. Oh well.

My thoughts exactly. I've been ranting at suggestions of signing Owen for a few years but now, I'd take him.
