I've been lurking on ja606 for around a year now and left a couple of comments here and there, but after watching todays performance I thought theres something small I'd like to say.
Since selling VDV, to me it seems theres something missing, the desire to chase the game is gone. When I thought of Tottenham Hotspurs last season and the season before, the first player that came to mind was VDV. To me, he was the marquee player. Now, I struggle to think of one player who encapsulates the team. Theres no real leadership there, no one to encourage the team as we fell aside. They were all passengers.
Now, based on footballing ability this player wouldn't be near our starting line up, even I don't rate him very high, and my heart is in my mouth whenever I see him near the ball, but whenever I see him play for us he plays with his heart on his sleeve, and is always 100% commited.
I feel its time to step forward Michael Dawson
Who do we turn to?

I'm probs as peed off with today's result as anyone but we would normally have parker and Kaboul in the starting 11.
People need to remember we've got a new manager, new players and 2 leading players out. Give it time lads.

This is the problem about buying players on the last day of the window late on Mr Levy. Can't play them today!! Instead do buisiness early and they are already in the team. Dempsey I feel would have given 110pc. 55yrs supporting Spurs and I'm feeling rather sick with it all.
