Liverpool v Arsenal: Preview

Anfield is never the easiest place to go, and with the way Liverpool played against City last weekend I think we're in for a difficult game. If we let them dictate the game with Allen in control of the ball, we will lose. It's that simple. We need Abou to step up tomorrow and grab the chance he has been given by Wenger. He gets a lot of stick on here but I actually think he could be a top player. If he can stay injury free and have a run of games, I'm sure we will see some better form. The question is, can he avoid injury?

Added to winning the midfield battle we need to keep their little rabbit quiet! With Koscielny back, he needs to start in place of Per! Not that Per has performed badly, just that we need to be quick at the back tomorrow! Jenkinson and Gibbs will be ok in the full back positions. Hopefully, Wojiech will be fit to play, but of not, I have faith in Mannone to put in a good performance. I feel he is under valued by us!

Finally, we must be sharper in attack! Santi has been our fastest thinking player so far, but unfortunately, he can't do it on his own! It would be nice to see the likes of Arteta, Theo, Podolski and Giroud step up tomorrow! Perform like they should perform at a club like Arsenal! Arteta no doubt will put in a reliable performance! I just hope we can score! If we are focussed, sharp and positive we will win! I'm feeling quite confident! COUG!!!!

Possible team:

Szcezsny
Jenkinson Koscielny Vermaelen Gibbs
Arteta Diaby
Walcott Cazorla Podolski
Giroud

Subs: Mannone, Mertesacker, Santos, Coquelin, Ramsey, Ox, Gervinho.

Score prediction: Liverpool 1-2 Arsenal

Vermaelen 10-20 mins
Suarez 30-45 mins
Arteta 75-90 mins

COYG!!!!

Kamran is right here.

It's not all about pace. Just ask Theo. Who's quicker than him?

Hopefully Kos starts at RB. We won't have to worry about Sterling then. If Jenkinson starts there we are in the shíts. He's always looked clueless coming up against a winger with pace.

Sterling isn't just about pace, the kid is very tricky. Saying that, I hope Asaidi/the Ferrari starts.
