fair play semper, I'm not denying you were the better side but you don't have the best team and we made you better than you were because of our poor performance

Villa were very good first half today (after the first 10 minutes). Pressed a lot and made us make mistakes, but we were poor too. Second half Villa weren't as good and we were better but we lacked creativity

It wasnt a poor newcastle performance though.
Villa really harried and hassled and at times had 3 men on a single player.
Newcastle played their part in a very entertaining game.
Its probably fair to say we weren't taken very seriously to begin with owing to our recent performances however, once you realised you were in a game, it became a very tight affair.

Yes it was. It was awful. Missed Tiote terribly and front 2 failing to link again. Villa were good though, pressed us very well.
