Well I'm not a propper fan then am I?
Propper fans also reserve judgement on a potential new signing, until he's kicked a ball, and not write them off beforehand. Just because a player has been poor at a previous club, means he doesn't deserve a chance of a fresh start a new club?
You wrote nick Montgomery off, and as it happens we didn't sign him, but if we had, you had already written him off as a poor signing without giving him chance.
Are you a propper fan, Liw?

No

Thats my a opinion, I dont blindly say like some, that every signing is great, I make a opinion about them.

Just because I think they will be a bad signing, doesnt mean I hope they are, that I dont give them a chance to prove me wrong.

As proved on here many a time, I will be the first to hold my hand up and say that player proved me wrong.

And looking at where monty has ended up, I was right

Having an opinion on a player before he signs is 1 thing. Whether that opinion be positive or negative!

Once he is a Leeds United player, regardless of what you think of his ability, attitude, contribution etc etc...you surely want him to suceed? Because he is playing for the club/team you love, and the club/team doing well is the goal of us, and the player in question.

The booing of Rachubka at ER last season was the most disgraceful thing ive ever witnessed.

To totally crush one of our own is unforgivable...i wouldnt have wanted to play for the team again after that!

good thing about diouf is that he has come here with something to prove, so you can see he is really trying to win us over

He hadn't just been a little bit bad though, he was absolutely terrible. Played 3 times before that Blackpool game, at fault for 3 goals, and then in that game was at fault for the goals and a sending off.

I don't like people booing their own players, but after a performance like that, it was like watching an amateur.

Do people think players sign for us and are then going to say

'I don't really want to be here, Leeds are my second choice, but I thought I'd come here because it's close to where I live/I need the money/I like Yorkshire women"

I agree with Liw any player who plays for leeds should be backed no matter how they play, Rachubka was unlucky, his record with blackpool proves he is a good keeper it just didn't work out with us, same with Paynter and O'Brian , it just didn't work out, I will back every player in this team be it diouf, Kenny, Norris or becchio they are all leeds players and will perform better with our backing
