Yak on his bike after all?

I thought after starting against Bury that Yak was back in Moyesy's plans. There's rumours floating about that he's not on the USA tour though and that a move away from Goodison is on the cards.

Anyone heard this? Or better still, has anyone seen a picture of the Yak in USA to totally quash this rumour?

I got my hopes up there too I've heard the same. Maybe he's joining later.

Saying that, his shirt isn't available on the OS shop.

Just seen this on the BBC Gossip page too.
Everton are weighing up a bid to take Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner on loan. Full story: Daily Mail

Yikes!

I'm not a fan of NB, and having watched the highlights of the Bury game, I thought the Yak carried his 19st quite well....

Would like to see him back in the shape he was in when he first signed. Maybe DM should force him to sell his shares in Greggs....

"Everton are weighing up a bid to take Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner on loan."

------------------

Bendtner gets a lot of unwarranted flack.

Yes, some of it is his own fault, but the whole, "Best striker in the world" thing for which he's most taunted, was actually a misquote, (with our media... really?) and was in fact meant more as an aspirational comment, rather than as a matter-of-fact statement.

He is a talented player. One who, with a run of games behind him, could blossom into a fine player. Trouble is, his Dad is his agent and as we know, that isn't always the best. There is little doubt that he has been and is still being poorly advised behind the scenes. Hence, the sudden desire to up and leave rather than fight for his place in the team, (a situation that is also being exacerbated by Denmark's nation team coach).

There are a number of Gooners who cite Bendtner as a prime culprit for Arsenal's underachievements in recent seasons. However, injuries and Wenger's insistence on playing him out of position have hardly helped his cause. Not to mention the rather bizarre notion to give Chamakh precedence over him when he was fit again last season.

So if Everton's finances are tight as we're led to believe, agreeing a loan move for the big (headed) Dane wouldn't be the worst idea in the world to my mind. In fact it could work out brilliantly for all parties.

And though initially it may mean having to put up with a few guffaws from the lazy, media induced masses, you may well find yourselves having the last laugh in the end.
