Liverpool FC enquire on Ronaldo

Liverpool FC have announced they would be very interested in adding Real Madrid superstar Christiano Ronaldo to their squad in the January window. Brendan Rogers commented "He is definitely a player we are looking at. If he is a player who can improve the squad, then we would be nuts to not make an offer if he is available, but, we'll see..."

Brendan is understood to be prepared to release a number of first team regulars in order to make way for the La Liga championship medal holder. A source close to the club believes an initial offer of 10 million plus a few players going the other way could seal the deal. The players going the opposite way being Pepe Reina, Steven gerrard, Luis Suarez, Daniel Agger, Martin Skrtel, Joe Allen, Glen Johnson and Raheem Sterling.

Brendan added "of course we would be sad to let some of these playersgo, but to make sure we balance the books it would be a necessity and in my mind a gamble which could pay off. He is a player with quality, and I have been tinkering with a new formation of 10-0-1 which should get the best out of our new acquisition. We are very excited about the possibility of his arrival, this could make the difference between finishing 12th in the league and winning it"
