So sick and tired of this takeover now, I just can't wait till its finally concluded one way or another.
Every part of me hope's to god it happens and bates is out of our club for good......but, I just don't feel confident that's gonna be the outcome.
The longer it drags on, the more it looks unlikely IMO. Every snippet of news about it never seems to look positive.
Please ken, do the right thing, and let our beloved club move forward, without YOU at the helm!!!!
MOT
Takeover.....again!

It appears that it has been bates playing the potential new owners around, possibly wanting more money from them then what has previously been offered. Trouble is gates have held up, the team possibly doing better than he thought they would do, therefore I think he will retain ownership just to wait and see whether the team reach the premiership at the end of the season - then of course the club will be valued much higher than today's value. Trouble is we have seen fans moaning and groaning, but they have still flocked to elland road - this has given him the opinion that the fans generally are behind him. Unless gates fall below 18-19000 each week then he will not be hit in the pocket. He is an awful, self opinionated fool.

I apologise that I can't post the link, but the Yorkshire Evening Post are reporting if the deal is not done by the end of this week, then the potential new owners are throwing the towel in. God forbid!

I read that too Eddie but I feel that it's pure guess work as neither side are commenting. If they do walk away, can you blame them?

If the PNO'S throw towel in, A, you can't blame'em and B, gates will drop again cos fans will be dejected knowing fuzz face is still running show., you can't blame'em.

It will take a few bad results for the gates to drop, but it does feel depressingly inevitable with the paper thin squad.
