I got to nearly all of the Leicester city games , and I write match reports for the excellent 'Leicester til I die' website, at the end of every match report I write a brief summary of my thoughts. I try to give honest thoughts albeit a lttle biased towards Leicester city, after all I am a City fan
This is the summary of my thoughts on our victory over Blackpool at the weekend.
SUMMARY,
Straight from the off, City set out to prove a point, that they were better than the last three matches suggested. They set about Blackpool and pass the ball around at times like they weren't there. Blackpool's defence had no answer to the passing and movement of the midfield and strikers in blue shirts. Lloyd Dyer and Ben Marshall were up and down the wings ably supported by Sean St Ledger and Paul Konchesky, Andy king and Danny Drinkwater were pulling the strings in the middle and David Nugent and Jamie Vardy were running the defence
ragged. It was a joy to behold, and against Ian Holloways team, is a bonus.
The penalty may well have been a bit dubious, but they say these decisions even themselves out over the season, well after the game at Ewood Park last weekend, we didn't get the rub of the green, maybe this week we did. Holloway was fuming, Yes Ian, just like we were 4 years ago when you took our wonderful club to its lowest ebb in 128 years. Overall City deserved this victory.
So shut up moaning Holloway and take it on the chin like we did when you took us down four years ago!
In more ways than one, what goes around comes around!

I have also posted this on Blackpool's JA606 pages, So feedback from both camps would be welcome.

I don't think you'll get much response from the Blackpool page Gloria, it's deserted.
Fun report though - Always good to see a Family Stand view of the match, even if you give us slightly more credit than we deserve. (Not that I'm saying we didn't deserve the 3 points but Holloway clearly has a strong team going there.)

Having said that, our board's pretty deserted as well at the minute. Where is everyone?

Dungeon - nothing to moan about, nothing to post.
Sadly, that sums up far too many on our board. They'll all be back after the next defeat.

I think it's just because of the international break dunge - they seem to come around far too often, drag on far too long and are really pretty tedious.
I'm a big England fan, but do we really need two weeks away from club football every six weeks so that England can beat a variety of footballing minnows 1-0 courtesy of a scrappy header from a corner?
