Hi, just popping over to see how Coxy is getting on for you? He is IMO a real pro, great work ethic on and off the field, great finisher, works really hard, good passer, just lacks a bit of pace. Hopefully being in the championship and getting first team football will help him kick on and build his confidence up, could see him turning into a Kevin Phillips type of player!

Cox is a west brom reject, however it doesn't alter the fact he will do well for you in the championship
I would like forest to go up, easy away game to get to for one and guaranteed 6 points

Now now, I'm sure we won't beat you that easily, maybe guaranteed 4 points in our first season back eh?

Very good player. Great outside the 18 yard box type player. Can certainly strike a ball.
With him as an outside the 18 yard box player, and Sharp as a poacher, and Blackstock as the big lad, who offers so much more than your normal, average big lad, we've got some good options.

Cox is a poacher from what I've seen

I wouldn't call him a poacher at all, I've seen him score a number of goals from distance, remember the one at Spurs? Additionally he creates a lot for players around him. He's what you call a footballer.

A few things:
1) Yes, Simon Cox is a good buy for you guys to play in the the Championship BUT, in all honesty, I'm sorry to say he isn't class enough for the Prem.
2) The gulf in class between the Championship and the Prem is huge and whilst I too would like to see Forest back in the topflight of footy, only when they are strong enough with players who are good enough. If you don't, you could end up doing a Derby ! It's taken us three seasons to build a squad strong enough to challenge for maybe 6th or 7th place never mind mid-table.
3) Same thing goes for Ish Miller if not worse. No way is he a Prem footballer and indeed even a Championship one.
4) Jonny Greening was good, very good at times BUT, age has caught up with him.
All that said, isn't it great with both of us sitting in third slot in our respective leagues !

Baggie Man, very unlike you to make sensible comments so fair play. Do you really think you can finish 6/7? Can Clarke take the team forward more than Hodgson?

Hey Caniggiaforforest, how you doin' mate ? With the Prem you have 3 leagues within a league. The top 5 places speak for themselves - City, United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs/Liverpool. Another league are the ones fighting relegation - the three promoted teams of this season AND last season plus Wigan as usual and the odd surprise such as Villa or Stoke.
The remaining teams such as Newcastle, Everton, Fulham, Sunderland and ourselves are then in a league fighting for 6th or 7th slot and maybe Europe.
From what I've seen of the Baggies this season (and I know you'll shout early days) and the strength in depth and quality of the West Brom squad, we can well hold our own within that mini-league.
Best of luck for the rest of the season. Pity that the architect of your team, Steve Cotterill, isn't there to see your success but never mind.

That's a lot of typing to say nothing. Here's how to do it properly:
See? Much quicker. You'll notice I've kept all your relevant points too.

Well, there's no harm in being confident Baggieman. I must admit to envying Baggie fans because you do have a good squad and are definitely an established Prem side. The envy stems from the fact that it could have been us but unfortunately our club was not run in such a good way as yours. I thought the Clarke appt was risky but so far so good.
Good luck for the season but no more Cotterill jokes please
