Don`t you think it would be good if Wimbledon named Centre court and Court 1 after former champions as they do at the French Open, being Court Philippe Chatrier and Court Suzanne Lenglen? Centre court being Court Fred Perry and Court 1 being Court Virginia Wade. I know Wimbledon tradition and all that, but surley it`s time to break with tradition, and not even enforce an all white kit anymore?

Personally, I never warmed to V Wade, but doesn't matter, the idea is well worth considering ...

Wimbledon's appeal (if you like that sort of thing) is its archetypal British homage to traditional values. They won't change that.

Personally think it`s pretty boring seeing all the players dressed the same. Maybe the dinosaurs that run Wimbledon should move with the times just a little. And as Fred Perry has a statue up in the Wimbledon grounds why hasn`t Virginia Wade? It`s 34 years since she won it. When will another female British player win Wimbledon again? Not before my lifetime i`m thinking.
