Irish Team to play Kazakhstan

Keiren Westwood (Sunderland),

John O'Shea (Sunderland), Darren O'Dea (Toronto), Sean St Ledger (Leicester), Stephen Ward (Wolves),

Simon Cox (Nottingham Forest), Glenn Whelan (Stoke), James McCarthy (Wigan), Aiden McGeady (Spartak Moscow),

Robbie Keane (Los Angeles Galaxy), Jon Walters (Stoke)

Positive news in my opinion is our striker force and McCarthy starting.

Negative news is our defence with O'Dea and St Ledger starting considering we have an inexperienced keeper at this level in goals. Also cox on the wing ahead of McClean is not good if McClean is fit

We should be beating this lot but imo an early goal in vital but my worry is that they don't test us at all which will give Trap more confidence in our very average defence where we have only one premiership starter and a goalkeeper who is second choice at club level chances are they wont be found out tomorrow night but they will be in the other games where Trap will still pick these lot

Would Robbie Keane ever just fack off at this stage and retire gracefully? I admire his dedication but the Euros proved he's long past playing at this level.
.............................................................................

I agree, I admire his dedication, but it's also massively to do with his ego a bit like Beckham with England.

The problem is Keane has let himself go a lot fitness wise since moving to the MLS and at the Euros he looked more like one of those slow, fat, washed up forwards you'd find in the Conference.... Still got a great shot on him though!

arguably the best left winger in the premiership James McClean. McClean
.....................................................................................

That's a pretty ridiculous claim, I mean he's certainly got a lot of promise, but if he was even "arguably" the best winger in the prem, he'd be heavily linked with a top6 club by now.... Good but so far, not on the same level as Duffer....

With regards to the defence, I just don't understand how Trap can trust Ward and St Ledger after the way they let us down with all their mistakes in the Euros, Wilson at least should be given a chance now.

On current form he is certainly up there with the best but that said he has only played one season .
Lets judge him at the end of this one
That said i fullly expect to see him playing for one of the top 4 club within the next 2 to 3 years

Well who's better than McClean as a left winger? Its only a matter of opinion but I reckon he's the best and fully beleive he'll end up at most likely United next season if he keeps this form going. Its certainly no contest between him and a championship striker for the wing slot!!

Anyway why are you peeping Tom nordies hanging on our page again, havent you enough to be concerning yourselves with after your almighty recent 126th place ranking by FIFA this week For the purpose of proper debate we should allow fans of teams in the top 100 enter our boards to debate, you lads can take yourselves off to the Shetlands Islands board or whatever other pub team your fighting against to get that 125th place

Well who's better than McClean as a left winger?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Bale ,Hazard , Duff , N'Zogbia , Bertrand , Malouda , Bryan Ruiz , Scott Sinclair , Ashley Young , Jonas Gutierrez, Etherington. Shall i go on???

dont get me wrong , he is a good promising player , but to call him the best ahead of the lads above is laughable. This season is a huge season for him , he needs to plays every week and perform well.

And the "peeping tom" Nordies have always been here, just as you lot have been on our board. Its no biggy and it adds to the banter.
