Poll: Will we qualify?

5 s Yes.
1 No.

As far as I'm concerned it's a different tournament, yet we have the same tired old manager with the same tired tactics and I honestly can't see us qualifying. I'd love us to get to Brazil so badly, but sadly I don't see it happening with this ignorant man in charge.

If we fail miserably, it shouldn't just be Trap's head that rolls it should be Delaney's too!

There needs to be a clear-out from the top down, our only save in grace is that we are actually blessed with some superb youngsters like McClean, Coleman and McCarthy.

If we don't have six points on the board from our first three games, then we're out! If Trap can't do that then it goes without saying he has to go NOW!

Can't see it happening. Even if Trappatoni moves towards the younger players.
Sorry.

Tough call fot Trapp.

Does he stick with the old guard, tried and tested and go for qualification..

OR

Does he sacrifice a final shot at glory for the greater good of Irelands future and blood youth at international level.

Do you have a team of youngsters?

Yes we will get a playoff place at least.

Probably the only redeeming feature about Trappatoni's style is that we don't fck around against the small teams and drop silly points, as we did under the previous managers... This will ensure that we finish 2nd in the group, assuming we can get a couple of draws against Sweden (very possible)

Also, even if Trap doesn't pick all the young talents for this campaign, what difference does it make?... they'll still be around in 2 years, they're not going to retire from the lucrative world of pro football over a silly fallout with the Italian...

The next manager will have all those players in their prime... and hopefully a MUCH easier qualifying group to experiment with, given our high seeding, which owes much to Trap's good record.

No not with trap in charge and the gutless Delaney at the head of the FAI. Have a look at tomorrow nights lineup, it tells you everything thats wrong with trap in charge.

No!! Finish above Sweden for 2nd place. Not a hope!! And don't forget our bogey side Austria either.

My hopes for this campaign is that we get a few decent results and Trapatonni starts to give the players currently not in the first XI that we all want to see play some game time at least.

Then its time for a new manager after this campaign to lead us to Euro 2016 Qualification.

Not a hope in hell of qualifying with this geriatric lunatic in charge!!! Not unless Keogh, O'Dea, Green, McShane turn into world beaters and maybe Simon Cox can turn into James McClean on the wing?? The orther alternative would be to use McClean the actual winger on the wing!! Just a crazy pipedream I know, playing players in their correct position!!
