Decent article and very true, maybe pushing it a bit to compare him to Joe Allen though. He's got better as I thought v Wigan and Bolton he went missing a little at times.

Capable of turning defenders inside out and puts terrific crosses into the box.
Works hard defensivesly, tracking back and helping the full back.
Should probably score more goals than he does but then again so should everyone else.
You may get a WUM by the name of Lanzarote coming on here and saying things to the contrary about this player.
Dont take him seriously, he has been certified on a couple of occasions and is generally humoured by fellow posters on the Donny board.
Apparently he frequents Whitby and is known to get the locals to buy him drinks in return for favours.

In relation to simpleton fans, we have a few equivalents who frequent our boards, namely Iwas, OOE and Backward...We only had ten fans. They proclaim to support derby.

drfchound (U2224) - thanks for your comments. From what you say about crosses and turning defenders inside out etc, it is fair to assume that he favours the wing. If so, which side do you think suits him the best (or is he equally at home with either?). Wikipedia just has him down as 'an attacking midfielder'. He played left wing the other week when he came on as a substitute, but he didn't really have time enough to make a (positive) impact on the game.

He has done well so far. Bit soon to be claiming he is the signing of the season. Some of our new players have either not played yet or barely played.

I personally think Cox could end up player I the year. But as long at there ate a few good choices it will mean we have done well enough
