Its a good read and epitimises how far behind we are in terms of producing good technical players and im in agreement with everything he says!
Sod all that Barca la masia codswallop why dont they just come down to S6 where the football is on a par with the Catalan pass masters, you ask south yorkshire's favorite Spaniards, Rodri & Llera!!

The thing with Hoddle is that he is a great coach/manager. His downfall came when he banged on the 'Jesus' drums and merntioned past lives and faith healing.
Now, if he'd said that he advises players to use complimentary therapy such as reiki, kinesiology, or similar people (the red tops) wouldn't have labelled him as a whacko.
Anyhow he brough religion into sport so thats a red card IMO. A decent coach and an excellent midfielder in his pomp.

He lost it when he said disabled people are paying for the crimes of past lives, and if his beliefs influenced his selections then thats obviously a no no.
If he'd kept it out of football I couldn't care less though. No one belief system is more valid than another, they're all crackers.

If he had got the players together before going out on the pitch and said..' let us pray ', I could have understood his beliefs
