its not the end of the world.

With norris out for 4 weeks we look a bit short at cm now.

However we still have a couple of options to choose from.

Theres super danny pugh who can step in. Think he could be solid enough without being spectaculor

Theres a couple of decent young centre midfielders to choose from as well. Look at byram, hes has played well since he came in, and theres a couple of others getting rave reviews from redfern.

Thin on the ground we may be, but there are still player who can do a job for now.

By no means do I think we don't need to strengthen, but I think we will have a decent 1st 11 still.

However until we reach the end of the rainbow with the takeover, if we ever reach it at all we will have to make do with what we have fir now.

yeah still got Pugh you're right who's solid IMO! Nothing spectacular indeed but does what he has to! Was good to see him whack a few Reading players at the end of last season

Yet he gets transfer listed and Brown gets a new contract!

Well you know Warnock knew he had little funds! Therefore he thought he'd get more £ out of Pugh transfer than out of a Brown transfer

I guess he thought wrong then!!

I have no idea why people think Pugh is anywhere near championship standard. We've had him twice, once when he was near his peak and once when he's winding down from it and neither times has he looked like a player capable of anything more than our youngsters. It's not even like he's Andy Hughes, who'd run himself into the ground even if he couldn't pass a ball straight or time a tackle!
Glad he's transfer listed. Consign him to the pages in the history books alongside Jason Crowe, Neil Collins and Lubo Michalik.
