Very difficult day for all the players today. Well done to Andy for getting through to his fifth Grand Slam final ( How many did Henman get to throughout his entire career? Was it 0?) and it will be interesting to see if Djokovic can pick his game up because tonight he was terrible.

It will be a shocking surprise if Djoker can save the first set. First set is done and dusted. I will be so happy if Djoker loses this against ferrer, all that air of invincibility will vanish into thin air then.

Did Djoker not play the second semi last year as well?

The 1st set isnt over until its over.

But its hard to see Ferrer droppnig his serve twice.

I think the seocnd set is key for Ferrer.

he could get a second wind and win the 4th set if he loses 2 and 3- but even though ferrer is one of the toughest competitors in sport, let alone tennis, I cant see Djokovic losing a 5th set. Ferrer needs a 2 set adantage imo.

I will be astonished if a man of Djokovics obvious talents allows Ferrer to win 3 sets in a US Open semi final.

The final will be Andy v Djokovic and that was always going to happen, long before this tournament even started.
