Spurs fan in peace (for now ). So you've been in the CL for the past 17 (?) years now, which is fairly impressive, but you haven't won it. I know the Europa League isn't exactly considered that important, but winning it is still a great achievement and it is a prestigious European trophy to put in the cabinet.
So would you rather your CL run continues but you don't win it in the forseeable future, or end your run and finish 5th, but then win the Europa League?

honestly we would bottle the final.

We got to the UEFA cup final in 2000 and bottled it on Penalties and CL final in 2006 and bottled it in the last 13 minutes....
But at least we get more money with CL.....

while i see the point that cl gets more money,i always thought being a true fan was to win trophys .
the thrill of being in a final the joy of winning can be seen on the winning team and their fans who support them.
whatever team you support money cant buy them feelings.
after all most good players go to teams who have ambitions to win things,a players football career is short you cant show your children and grand children the money the cl made you but you can show them your winners medals.
