With the season only four games old it is as plain as the nose on your face we need a striker. If we don't get one in on loan asap we will not only not be promoted we could be fighting relegation.
We keep the ball for 60/70% of the match and score no goals
1) The fans will not put up with it as NOT scoring goals is NOT entertianing football
2) This holding on to the ball does NOT win matches
Come on Robinson if you can't pick a striker find someone who can.
WE NEED A STRIKER

You all know what I think about McDonald and Ibhere, McDonald couldnt get in at Brentford and Ibhere isnt a goal scorer.
I would have liked to seen the guy from Wycombe who scored so many goals last season sign for us.
Izale McCloud has already scored twice for Pompey and he was available for nothing.

I believe Robinson isn't fond of Izale as a player for his team, and I can understand why even though I'd love to see him back! And Beavon who went to Preston would have come at a hefty price I'm sure.

I actually wonder if Robbo isn't keen on Strikers and doesn't really see the need.
He likes the passing game and the team have continued from last season where they are always looking for the next pass instead of the next shot.
This has got to stem from the management

I tend to agree, Bill! Especially after Spain's plan in the Euro's!

I can see why he has brought in Wrighty then if he want to play 4-6-0.

No you both missed my point, I know Wrighty is good, my point was that I can't see why Robbo brought him in, if he isn't keen on strikers (hence the 4-6-0 formation)
