Hate to admit it, agree, didnt Lansbury score a blinder like that for England not to long ago?

Henderson played a few PL games a couple of seasons ago.

Seems to have regressed since.

Henderson had a serious injury for all of last season. He needs game time to get back, but he also has a year left on his contract.

Not in a Arsenal midfield. Lansbury had the same issues. Sidwell was the best passer we had and even he didn't have the technical movement and passing required.

You really do need to be Barca class to command a place in our midfield. Thats why Ramsey looked so poor last year. Only Wilshere has been able to make the jump in past. And Wilshere is younger than Conor.

Please tell me you don't think Gervinho and Walcott are Barcelona class, J99? Even Song isn't what most would take the definition to mean... and they actually signed him.

As for Serial's mention of Bentley, fair enough. But it wasn't a lack of talent that stopped him making it at Arsenal, it was a lack of commitment coupled with a poor attitude.

Gervinho shouldn't be at Arsenal. In my view his acquisition was a mistake. We should have gone for Hazard as we both discussed last year.

I don't think Walcott was ever meant to be in the midfield. Arsene always intended him to be a striker.

I have defended Walcott ad infinitum in this forum because I still think that. I think Arsene should play him in attack and then if he fails - sell him. One of my main fears is that Theo will become a 20+ goal striker elsewhere. I think that would be a real shame and disaster after all the stuff we have endured to train him on the wing.

And btw I still think Theo is better than Tello and Affelay. Both Barca wingers.
