Jerry Lawler Suffers Heart Attack

on last night's monday night raw. Thoughts and prayers are obviously with him and his family.

It was very creepy to watch, something was clearly wrong and the crowd began to chant his name whilst Cole gave sporadic and subdued commentary. It was a massive shock to see. Full credit to Cole for his handling of the situation, he held it together brilliantly and professionally, full respect to him.

It looks like Jerry will be OK but I wouldn't be surprised if that is the last we see of him as a regular on TV.

wasn't as awkward as over the edge 1999, but was still wow

Yeah Michael Cole handled the situation well. Must have been tough.

thank goodness he's doing fine

Very similar to what happened at over the edge with the way Cole had to say to camera what happened, i did fear the worst

I feared the worst as well, was interesting to see if they would play the rest of the show or not, wasn't too sure at the time. Probably the right decision in the end and I thought it was handled quite well considering the severity of the situation and the fact they were rolling live. I wonder if there will be any mention of it on Smackdown, it's a tricky one seeing as it airs 3 days later when any news they give will be out of date.

Really relieved to hear that he is stable now.

There's a moment in the match when you can hear someone taking deep breaths, a few seconds later the camera changes and you can see Jerry in the background leaning forward with someone tending to his side.

Jerry may not have been the most liked man in his prime but as the years have gone by, he has re-modelled himself into a someone that has the respect of the wrestling industry.

Here's hoping he makes a full recovery.

There were some strange snoring noises too, quite unsettling.

The latest news appears to be that he has no brain damage, meaning it is quite unlikely that the rumours that he couldn't breathe for 20 mins are unlikely
