To be fair to McCabe he's started all Sheff Wed games in the Championship so far. Granted that Sheff Wednesday aren't exactly giants of world football, they aren't minnows either and they seem to be a club on the up after a decade or so on the downward slope

It could be an opportunity down there that might not have been available at Rangers. Who's to say if he would be a regular for Rangers this season....maybe he felt there was risk he could fall on the fringes a bit like Kyle Hutton has.

Ness on the other hand I think has made a poor choice. He should have gone to a club where he could feature regularly. He's 20 or 21 and has next to no first team experience. He's gonna struggle to get many opportunities at Stoke I think.

Pleased that McKay, Macleod and Crawford have been signed up. They've looked decent prospects and are getting a chance.

The only crack ness'll get in the foreseeable will be the ever-present wan in his back, knee or groin

Miller,by all accounts McCabe's shown up well down there. Only pity is he swapped their upward climb for ours

Good news that the 3 young lads have signed extensions. Other clubs were apparently already starting to sniff round McKay in particular.

Ness won't get many opportunities in midfield. N'Zonzi, Adam, Whelan, Whitehead, Cameron, Edu, Palacios are all in front of him at midfield.

Pulis is going to play him @ left back.
