Are we the the most generous club in England? We charge a very reasonable price for fans and we let kids go for free (for some games) to have a family atmosphere. Still some of our fans are not happy with the management and things around West Ham..
You can't satisfy all...

36 quid for a PL match seems a fair price although i went to bolton a few times over the last couple of years and payed no more than 15 quid a time

I think it's a wonderful thing having kids attend for just £1, which is less than what they get in pocket money
Wish Spurs did that when I was little
I was stuck watching Wimbledon for £5

TRFC, one thing you have to notice is we are a London club. Most of the time, if you have a u-16 kid he can watch the game for free or for minimal price(one pound). Look at QPR they charge over 45 pounds.

Mafia
yeah you are in a difficult position with all the competition from other clubs. it can only be good for future generations of hammers fans to get the kids in for next to nothing and get them supporting the club etc.
i'm sure most clubs make more money from kids merchandise than they do ticket sales anyway.

TRFC,
I don't know the stats about how much kids merchandise we sell in a year compared to other clubs. Most fans (and kids) spend money on merchandise once or twice in a year.
