What does this mean though? we win against Wales and lose to Belgium and he keeps it? He should be shown the door now but anything less than 6 points in the next two games and he should be sacked. I bet the SFA see it differently.

The issue is that he's also been allowed to start a whole range of projects around youth development, he's not just running the team.
And of course we can't afford to sack him and hire someone better.
If we had the money, I'd say he should be moved upstairs to carry on the behind-the-scenes stuff, and be replaced.

Hopefully he does the decent thing and resigns if we dont beat wales

I'm a bit torn with Levein.
I do like some of his ideas. What he's doing at youth level/coaching is encouraging.
Clearly though he is coming up short as national team coach.
The thing is though every manager for the last 14 years has been the same. And as much as the media/fans are talking up this squad I really don't think it's anywhere near the standard it's made out to be. IMO Smith/McLeish had a far better squad to choose from.
And finally, who, that we could afford, would touch the job that is much better than Levein?

Yeah in France we had faddy up top and Brown fletcher Hartley and fergie in midfeild. Much better than what we had on sat. People seem to think we have a better squad because more players are playing in the prem.

Exactly! Fletcher and Ferguson will retain possession and break up play all day. We have no-one at the moment who can put a foot on the ball in midfield and actually pick a pass. We have half decent guys like Morrison, Naismith, Adam and Snodgrass but they do their best work further up the park with good runs and playing the final killer pass, they can't start moves. That's where Fletcher is so badly missed. Without that one or sometimes two player(s) sitting back and controlling things the midfield will have no shape and we can't hold on to the ball.
Gary Caldwell is certainly not the answer to that problem.

Which would be fine and well if they were playing for decent sides. But Wigan, QPR, Norwich etc are hardly the creme de la creme of the EPL are they? In all honesty they're not any better than your average OF side if at all.
