The big man has just announced on Twitter that he will pay for anyone who got his name and number 25 on their shirt to have it changed. Just take it into the Spurs shop at the Lane and they will change it to a 10 for you.
Very nice of him if you ask me, what a guy
Adebayor

Yeap, that is why he signed straight away. The millionaire footballer didn't try and wrangle as much cash out of the deal at all did he? Waived all sorts of bonuses to sign.
Or was he holding out for a better offer from a better club? Like Juventus for example.

Good gesture, though it'd be interesting to know how many Spurs fans would've had his name and number anyway.
He was only on loan so i doubt many people would've chose him over players who'd be there longer....?

Cap'n - personally I think Levy was happy to save a few millions on his wages over the summer before we inevitably signed him (it was obvious from the word go, and anyone who didn't think it was a coincidence that he was in the States when we were playing out there is deluded).
Unfortunately, while Ade's quids in, and Levy's quids in (usual for both, may I suggest?) it has left our new manager - sorry, I mean 'head coach' - without his best forward (for any system other than the 4-4-2 that Defoe needs) for the whole of his first pre-season.

Yep, I think we will miss out on something good by a point or two...typical Spurs
Oh well, like you say Ade's happy, and a lovely sign by the big man. We've got him now so long may the relationship be happy
