City Heading In The Right Direction

Are City really going in the right direction, I`m not so sure,. someone needs to convince me. Until the new stadium is sorted out one way or the other we are staying still. We need real investment in a few quality signings CM a must also LB and LM and then we will see.

You have to give Millen a chance to get the team sorted out before we can decide if we are going in the right direction. When he was first appointed I thought it was a mistake both for him and the club I believed and to some extent still do that and experienced manager A Terry Venables type should have been brought in when Steve Cockup left the side in such a mess with Millen taking over either at the end of the season or should whoever came in have gotten us promoted then end of next season, but KM managed to learn quickly enough on the job to get us away from the mire and into a reatively safe position in the table despite a couple of bad spells. Considering the state of the club and the moral of the players at the time he took over the reins I think he deserves our full support unless he proves next year to not be able to cut it.
IMHO I think he could well give us a good run for our money the players he has signed and has tried to sign give me hope that he knows where he wants the club to go and knows how he wants to get us there.
There are 3 or 4 good players available of free transfers at the moment as they have been released or had their contracts expire if we can get them then the money that would have been spent on transfer fees can go on paying the wages of the better of the freebies, afterall football is as much about finance as about playing on the pitch.
Billy Jones would be a great signing,
Getting Caulker back would also be a great move,
for LB I have been told that Lee Wallace is a class act although also been told he is a bit of a loose cannon at nightclubs.
I still wish that we could have gotten hold of George Boyd to play on the left/ancillary striker, Stephen Crainey or Joel Lynch would also be good signings so lets see who we can get to sign on the dotted line then we will have a much better idea about how the side is likely to progress s the players he has told to look for other clubs are for the most part those we all would have expected.

Like most people i to was shocked at giving KM the job and after the first month of games thought we where in alsorts of trouble and had a fight on our hands.
But i now believe he turned the team around, some very good loan signings and a 14th finish very good, so i say give him a go and lets look forward to some good signings this summer.
