Finally the players all take off their pyjamas and we move on to International T20 cricket. The only form of T20 worth watching in my book and as the T20 world cup comes closer I wonder who is the favourtie to win this competition?
Only this week South Africa and England have been locking horns and it is clear that both teams can be dangerous on their day.
Pakistan played a very nice series and beat Australia. Warner is still a very dangerous player but Pakistan were more than a match for them and have the best spin bowler in the world bar none.
New Zealand gave India a hard time but today they have just been bowled out by Australia for 83 in only 17 overs
India have an explosive batting line up, as always, and in Kohli they have one of the best batsmen in the modern game today. What about their bowling?
The West Indies have Chris Gayle and several other explosive hitters in their team.
Sri Lanka will surely have something to say in the proceedings as the competition is being held in the Sub C?
Patriotism aside, who will win this?
World cup warm ups.

I know Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Pollard and Narine are all good T20 players, but I'd be surprised if they won.

I always thought the WT20 was always pretty open due to the unpredictable nature of T20 cricket.

Love the patriotism Dude You think you have the batsmen to win this title? I don't but as Duncan says, anyone can win on their day. That said to win the thing you are going to have to play great, for that exact reason.
We did it, now can the rest of you do it too?

"We did it, now can the rest of you do it too?"
Have you already forgotten that India and Pakistan have already won the tournament before?

To be honest pinefresh I am not an expert on T20 cricket.
How many tournaments have been held and who were the winners?

well we have already done it maksi
and tbh our fielding standards have improved which is a huge bonus for us
bowling is of course top notch and we can bat a bit too
i fancy our chances very much this time

Many of the big boys played another match today and it is quiet clear that this tournament will be won by either England, Pakistan, South Africa or Sri Lanka.
The rest can't bowl and in this crash bang wallop format of cricket, that is going to make things impossible for you.

pinefresh, toofan and neon back under their stones again?
Jesus, why can't they chill out a little? They should be used to India losing by now?
