What they’ve said

Arsene Wenger
"Cazorla has gained the respect of everybody very quickly. Cazorla is humble, he loves the game and that is what you want from every football player,"
"They talk on the pitch, don't need to speak too much, just go on the pitch and show what you can do. That is what he does.
"He loves the game, loves to play with his partners and that is the best way to gain respect from everybody."
Olivier Giroud
"I'm not too worried about it, because I've been scoring in training and I feel pretty comfortable being a part of this team.

"I've been freezing up a little bit just when I've been about to pull the trigger and that's exactly what happened in my first few matches for France.
"I've always scored goals – it's simply a question of confidence, of tenacity and dedication. Those two words have always stuck in my mind, as for me they sum up quite well the qualities that a forward needs to have."

"Even as a young boy, I dreamed of playing in the Premier League,"

"Remember, there were several big-name French players doing well at Arsenal at the time, guys like Patrick Vieira, Sylvain Wiltord, Robert Pires, Thierry Henry, among others, and that made an impression on me.

"I'm very proud to follow in their footsteps and I hope to make my mark at the club as well. I really am pleased with my decision to come here."

Stats

Good Stats

• It’ll be the first time Dubbed will see Arsenal play Southampton consecutively

looking at the goal again, although it was a clanger from Shez, I feel Jenko could've got himself in the way in time.

Sagna

What you can say is that we are not behind the likes of City, United and Chelsea football wise

but in the past seasons we've been able to play like this but not consistently. with these players is see consistency and the enormous potential of the squad

performances like this should rise our confidence. We must at least a bit more clinical in front of the goal.

You can always find the hair in the soup though.

Great match thread again Fabby
