Ever since Celtic were cleared of illegally using 'A' EBT, the media, ably abetted by Sevco's duff manager, have tried to purvey a level of familiarities between what Rangers did to attract players to their club by offering them tax-free loans(wages to the layman)and Celtic paying money into a trust, previously set-up by the player and HIS former club, to SEVER his ties with Celtic.
No side contract was issued, no EBT agreed to attract that ONE player to the club...nope, just a plain old payment to get rid of, which....Celtic additionally had to PAY tax on.
No investigation required, no gain sought by our club to attract a player we couldn't afford to pay, when you added tax onto his wage.
Yet we have bears trying to deliberately muddy the waters to lighten their CHEATING load.No disgust from them towards players taking millions of THEIR money and not paying tax on it, whilst, no doubt, these players and their families would enjoy the social attributes that taxpayers afforded them.
WHEN YER COVERED IN MUCK, YE HOSE YERSEL DOWN AND CLEAN IT UP...STOAP CHUCKING IT ABOOT YA SHOWER A MUD.
That's right, that's right

Celtic set up a trust. Check the club's accounts.
