I can't think of anything we can ever achieve where we will ever be able to match or better that CL run in terms of emotions and feelings to be honest. The thrill of the chase has gone and although i still want us to keep winning leagues/ champions league i just don't think nothing can top the way we won it last season even if we did win it again.
The emotions, the highs, the lows, the tension, the sadness, the happiness, the relief, the tears, the adrenaline, the nervousness, the anger, the hurtness, the spirit, the battles, the determination and the belief was just amazing and i just don't see what could possibly top that CL run for us?
Drawing and thus qualifying for the final vs the best team in the world when we were 2-0 down with 10 men, no centre backs, no captain and in their own back yard and still getting a 2-2 draw is the best CL comeback ever imo.
And then beating a german team in their own backyard in the final on penalties of all things.
It was just like it was scripted last season, we were down and out so many times yet still hung on in there and came back every single time.
Before last season it was always a case of, Can we finally win it? Will we finally do it? Will we ever win it? How far will we go this season? Will we ever get our revenge on Barca and Overbo? Will we always have to remember Moscow?
The first times always the best and although i'd love us to win it in an attacking style or playing beautiful football i still think this was the best way ever to win it, the amount of emotions i experienced in that run was unreal and we won it on pure grit and determination. Where's the fun in winning it when you're the favourites and just steamrolling everyone?
It was just like watching a movie tbh, the suspense, the tension and on and on.
I could happily die tomorrow now after witnessing the most amazing journey and adventure in our history.
The one negative of finally winning the CL!

Shreaves showed what a tool he is when he interviewed Brana

Shreeves is just a , will never forget that Ivanovic thing. Talk about kicking someone in the teeth just after they have layed their body on the line for 90mins in one of the hardest matches of their career.
Guy proved what a lowlife he was that night.
Anyway don't wanna ruin the thread with anger towards that mug anyway !

he did have the subtlety and decorum of a wrecking ball in that interview. Its funny though when he asks someone like Fergie a stupid question and gets an earful for it

The next time it will feel anything to close to as good is IF we ever do it for the 5th time, which will mean we have a CL trophy at Stamford Bridge for ever.
The next milestone after that will be to overtake everyone and have more triumph's than any other club in the world, which let be honest is unlikely to happen in our lifetime.

Ahaha it's comments like these that make us Chelsea fans smile. We are the European champions, that's ALL the counts.
