Jud - Can understans where you are coming from, but Warnock promised to build a team for the future.
Sold one of our most promising youngsters to a local rival and has signed 4 players in the twilight of their career.

Jud, how do you know that this isn't what warnock was actually promised?
Warnock has either been full of hot air or extremely naive to believe everything Bates has told him.

What's the point building for the future under Bates, when any young talent who reaches a decent level are sold anyway. Yes you could argue that Bates may not be here by the time they reach their potential as we may finally have new owners, but i don't blame Warnock for acting short term given his situation.

SKB - Warnock has made all these signings in the knowledge that a take-over was imminent.
Warnocks PR is superb, but is he just saying stuff to please us fans knowing he's leaving soon anyway?

this is all Warnock seems to say, stuff to please the fans.

I am becoming more dissatisfied with Warno by the day - he is living on borrowed time now as far as I'm concerned. We need to win two or three on the bounce to save his skin.
I'd play Poleon alongside Becchio upfront against Hull BTW

Realistically, with the money that we had, who could you bring in that's better than say Norris?
He sold Clayton because lets be honest, he wasn't a world beater and he was one of the only players that wasn't irreplaceable but could bring in some money.
I doubt that he was delighted to see Snodgrass sold.
Under the circumstances, I think he's doing a decent job. However, agree about his PR. He's nearly full of as much b/s as Bates is, however at least he's not insulting us.

Varney, Grey, Green, Tonge, Diouf, Brown, and Norris
all of them were free transfers or in 1 case a short term loan ergo they weren't wastes of money

So paying wages for bit part players as well as agents' fees can't be construed as a waste of money?
