As woodwork has played such an important role at our club over the last 12 months, I thought I'd start a thread that we could hopefully not contribute that much to over the coming season. As a reminder, last year we set a new EPL record for woodwork hit: 46 times ; here's a small reminder (thanks mighty_stevie_g ): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfAlH9Yif_0

It's in his DNA, players from old run through his bones.
I guess you just have to take your hat of to Scotland
It was worth a try from the SFA trying to get him to play for them

Is it the SFA or SAF ?
Im confused , is Scotland or Alex Ferguson looking for him or is it the same thing ?

He was elgible to play for Scotland.
His grandfather is actually Scottish and his name is actually Coates (pronounced Coats) but when his family were in Uruguay they pronounced it differently and that's how he too pronounces it

Why don't oneof you liverpool fans go to where liverpool train and tell or shout a goal is the ball crossing the line and not hitting the woodwork and going out.

I just watched the youtube video and I think its not unl;ucky the way liverpool hit the woodwork. They have no technique quite a lot of shots close in they hit the crossbar.
Its technique. Suarez makes ne laugh with those bad finishes.

wow liverpool player shoot to miss it seems. They don't think of where they are shooting. Thats more bad finishing then bad luck. Heck liverpool need a new striker who knows where the goal is.
