If we are going to be in a battle for 4th place it will be with Everton.
Better individual players, better team, better manager, more intimidating home atmosphere, no European distraction. Everton are the team to worry about this season if we are going to be in another scrap for Champions League football.
Everton > Spurs

well he is a mug, because after having done all that work, he then preceded to turn himself and his team into a laughing stock

the lowest he has finished is 4th. the highest you have finished is 4th....i think calling arsenal a laughing stock is a bit extreme to be honest! every time arsenal come to goodison park they always have looked dangerous!

ok so are you saying that finishing top 4 every year is good enough for arsenal? if so then fine, but if you talk to most of their fans, they feel that they should at least be competing for the title, winning comes, half of them even think they should be winning the title.
thus if that is the expectation then they may be a good side (they are) but they are long term collossal underachievers.

i actually fancy Arsenal to put up a good show this weekend, they were supposed to get ripped apart in this fixture last season but as i recall they more than matched City that day and only lost 1-0 to a pretty fluky Silva goal

Wenger's many things but a mug he ain't
why is it that despite being blown out of the water financially by their rivals, that despite losing their best players, that despite the constant media talk of a London power shft and the end of his reign at Arsenal, that Wenger keeps Arsenal competing with the biggest and richest teams in Europe
to operate under the financial restrictions they do but still get the best part of 2 consecutive decades in the Champions League is nothing short of miraculous
----
finances are only half the story.
spurs have far less money than QPR, but as we have a better team and squad then i expect a better finish and more success.
the simple fact is that over the years arsenal have had some of the best players in the world in their respective positions.. and have achieved absolutely nothing.

with a back four of Djourou, Traore and Jenkinson! after they'd recovered from that disastrous start Arsenal had one of the best defensive records in the Division
laugh at Wenger all you like but operating under big financial constraints he has succeeded where the last 15 Spurs managers have failed

jenkinson?
mate one conversation with a gooooner and you would leave convinced jenkinson is world class.
there are about 4 goooners in my office who havent shut up about the kid ffs.

then and now though Chronic
this was a kid fresh from League 1 given a baptism of fire at Old Trafford against a rampant United side! for what it's worth i think he's turned into a half decent player, but that's now not then!
anyways, got to go-i'm cooking dinner tonight for the gf (early dinner so i can watch the footy though )

Not true between them the last 15 managers have won 2 titles, 7 FA Cups, 3 European Trophies, 4 Carling Cups and several charity shields.
You obviously know very little about the last 15 Spurs managers idiot.
