Varney has to be benched next game, Poleon showed more in 30 seconds than he did all game

I didn't see match or hear match, but having seen both players, I can probably agree with that!

Attendance was about 19,750, not too bad considering there was a protest, category A game and midweek

Better than I expected I guess. Hats off to those brave enough to go.

But nearly 3,00 down on same midweek fixture last year when there were also protests, Cat A and midweek.

Cat B tonight. £34 in West and East Stands and £26 behind the goals. Like Jonty said, way down on last season, when we were going into the match pointless after the first 2 league games and had already played on the Saturday at home to Boro.
Also note Everton is Category C and from looking on the website sales look poor. Too little, too late from Kenny Bates!

Everton game is the game for the fans to get their feelings known, live on TV, a low attendance and possible protests will carry more meaning, hit Bates where it hurts
