Just like to welcome Chris Powell and his team to Pride Park, welcome back.
Me personally, I think Charlton deserve to be in the Championship.
I'm doing tonight what most red dog fans do, staying in tonight and listening to the match on the radio.
All the best to both sides, and may the best team win.

I can't believe how quickly a confident-looking team can fall apart! What topped it off was when we had a fee kick 25 yards out in injury time and tried to chip it, to nobody, into the corner... straight to a Charlton defender who knocks it back in the air then as it drops to Wardy he just belts it (with slice) back into the air!! Stop panicking and play your football lads!!!
Anyway, a good 70 mins shouldn't be over-shadowed by a game changing wondergoal, despite the obvious worries, our football for the most part continues to be a breath of fresh air.

I dont think it was as tactically bad as the wednesday game and we shouldn't understimate the impact of Fuller coming on who gave us alot of trouble and seemed to galvanise the whole team

Yes, we need some brains in central midfield, that much was blatantly obvious on Saturday too.
Unfortunately we have been calling for this addition for a number of seasons now, but the budget won't allow for it. So, we struggle on. We can only hope that the development of some of those in there already will continue with the momentum it has for the last couple fo terms, maybe that calming influence will break through those ranks.

What about letting the likes of Reo-Coker slip through the net, taking a pay-cut and off the Charlton on a free, he'd a been perfect.

Igor - Reo Coker would have been a good signing BUT we won't sign players like him to sit on the bench until the 75th minute and, aside from the ability to almost self destruct, our starting line up is also our strongest line up (if you get my drift!)
Let's look on the bright side - we didn't manage to concede 3, so we won!

Milf:
I don't think they are a confident side. They are a side who can play exceptional football at times, but confidence to shake off a setback is something that only comes from belief - and belief only comes from having a good, long winning streak.
We've played 4 games at home this season, and in 3 of them the wheels have come off as soon as the opposition scored. We took Watford to the cleaners, but even in that game we could have conceded 3 late goals, let alone 1.
I'm sure that the more times we win despite ourselves, the more chance we will have of going on a decent run - and that just might then breathe a touch of confidence in to the side.
I hope so anyway - my dicky ticker can't take much more of this (I bet you all want a wristwatch you wear inside your underpants, don't you?)

Eddie, it's not only the players who panic... the whole bloody stadium does. The fans are as bad as the players are for degenerating into nervous wrecks as soon as a goal goes in!

The away supporters tend to have a more 'devil may care' attitude. I still reckon one of the most fun days I've had watching DCFC over the last god knows how many years was the final game in the Prem away at Blackburn.

Eddie yes I'd say that was a good one as well. Me Mostyn and 666 were dressed as hula girls in grass skirts etc. Are you going over the other side of enemy lines?
