The pieces of the jig-saw

We have the players.

They've just no adapted well enough to life in the lower leagues.

Sandaza is not cut out for the rough and tumble though methinks.

Big Jig's yer man to play up front for now.

He will show the hammer throwers who's boss.

Super will come good when he realises this.

Thoughts?

Black, McCulloch, Sandaza, Kyle
---------------------
Your kidding? These guys have more than proven themselves (well maybe not Kyle he's always been pash) in the SPL and been key players for their respective teams.

Totally agree DB

There was issues shown up last season, but i though Ally should get a chance to get things right, however having watched the team. I wouldn't mind if we played some good football, but conceeded and went out that way, but the team can't now pass and the biggest issue is they look constantly scared, nervous and edgy. Now that's down to the manager to create the mental state of the players and Ally is failing bigtime.

Managers are always to blame not players. Get in Billy Davies.

"It's all relative"

That is precisely the point I am making in a sense...obviously a different sense from you.

No matter what league we will play in, you can only beat what is in front of you.

Last night is the first time we didnt win

So far this season, we've either won or came away with a draw.

There is a lot to be said for a team that is difficult to beat.....I'll take the points that there is also a lot to be said for a team that cant win away, and an SPL club paying in the third division.....but even a point on the road consistently and consistent home wins in the league, in my opinion, would see us through and get us promotion, and we are on course for that.

I dont beleive for a minute we will go all season without recording an away win, nor do I think we will win every home game.....but what we are doing is picking up points every week...that is not to be sniffed at.

Last night was a cup game, and we have had a far better team, far better quality on the pitch and far less going on pre-season and all the rest of it....and struggled, at home in cup games against sides of similar if not lesser quality than Queen of the South.

In the last what, six seasons, we have either lost, went to replays or struggled in the cup against Falkirk, Partick, Queens, Hamilton, St Mirren.....we went to penalties against St Johnstone in a cup semi a good few years ago too.

This is nothing new for me.....its clear the fact we dont have as good a squad now means we cant take the foot off the gas as much in these games as we used to while still managing to get the result, fitness telling etc...

Bad results happen

We have spent a fortune compared to these teams St3vie and play the worst football I have ever witnessed. The team look scared and if you want to get promoted by 1 point then good luck to you.

Castle

We've lost one game...on penalties

We had fck all pre-season....the last two months of the season have been our pre-season and usual bedding in process.

Vital players for the first team didnt sign up until the end of August and have been at the club a matter of weeks.

The point being made is...chill!!

Now is not the time to be fickle.....yes the fitba on show might be $hite, yes the results should be better than they are.....but we would normally have had a pre-season, been building for this season since June, been adding to a squad already in place, been playing at a level of football different to where we are now, which is a lot easier in some respects but a lot harder in others.

We lost almost all our best players, and almost all of our key spine of the team players, we have replaced them with kids and lesser SPL quality at the last minute, we had little to no pre-season, we've built a squad in less than a month that has to last us till January 2014......yet we are still unbeaten and only lost a cup tie on penalties.

Chill mate...chill.

Just coz we are Rangers playing in the third division doesnt mean we are going to steam roller all the opposition, get SPL or higher quality football played with kids and guys on the scene for a matter of weeks, win every game we play, dominate matches from start to finish, and gain an advantage over the rest without proper preparation, game time played, gelling of a team together and all the rest of it before the season started

It's not just losing the game and playing half decent with the odd goal. It's not the fact we have to battle away.

I wouldn't mind that St3vie, but we are playing dire and we played dire football last season before the issues.

Even when we score, we look awful and scared.

The team look scared and why do fans continually blame players? It's always the manager who changes how a team plays - always. It's why if you put a good guy in charge you get good results.

We played $hire football under Walter and won 3iar

Ally learned his trade under Walter....both at Scotland and Rangers.....its all he knows

We have also not won away in our league, have hardly any points and teams can score freely against us at will. We aren't playing SPL teams. We are playing part timers with thousands of pounds of wages if not a few million.
