Cracking result last night against Bolton and a massive 3 points. Things are finally starting to look up with 7 points from 9, with Barnsley to come to Stans on Saturday hopefully we can add some more points to our tally.
The back 5 were very impressive considering they were up up against Kevin Davies who is always a handful (still can't believe he wasn't at least booked).
The midfield battled and harried for the full 90 minutes, Wade Elliott standing out and Fahey coming on looked hungry and eager to impress, very glad to have him back in the side.
King and Lita look to have struck up a good partnership and caused the Bolton back line problems all game.
Redmond came on looking hungry and with a point to prove. Always looking to beat and run at defenders. Always picks a pass and most of the time has an end product.
All in all, a very well fought and deserved 3 points.

Very glad I managed to battle through my man flu to get down to the match last night. Much better performance and to be honest we could have made it even better for ourselves. Some dodgy decisions last night but BLAH! We got the result that matters and we just need to keep moving forward. Any news on Caddis yet?

Heard nothing new on Caddis apart from Terry McDermott saying that they're hoping that he will only be out for a month.
I imagine it will be Spector to right back and Fahey/Mullins in centre midfield for the Barnsley game??

Shame. He's been a bit of a standout performer since coming in. Still, I dont mind Spector at RB. Much better than when he's pushed into midfield. Wouldnt mind Elliot - Fahey - Morrison - Burke against Barnsley.

Agree, Caddis has been excellent and will be a big miss, a proper right back. Slotted straight in and looks as if he's been in that Blues back line for years.
Don't know whats happened with Morrison. Started v Charlton and played very well and been frozen out ever since. Maybe something has gone on behind closed doors.....
Also an interesting point last night - Zigic, was fit but didnt even make the 18.... strange one.

Last night I think defensively through the middle we looked like we could be exposed at any time. Several occasions Murphy and Caddis had to come and clean up. Caddis reminds me a Martin grainger type player, hungry to unleash a shot and loves getting stuck in.
Last night was a good result, however Butland had to make one or two good saves which could have seen Bolton steal it, but then again Bogdan made a fair few top saves to.
Was impressed with Lita, I thought he may be passed it, but showed great hunger, pace and few nice touches.
Great result, looking forward to Barnsley now, I must admit that I wasn't looking forward to last night.

Getting better is the right thing to say because we havent "clicked" we look like conceding every time the other team attacks, an on form curtis davies is need badly he is our only defender than doesnt have the turning circle of a bus, pace exposes us badly.
BUT were creating chances even more than under hughton at present and have more points than we did this time last season! Its only a matter of time before someone is on the end of a serious beating by us and i think it could be barnsley on saturday!

I think I would have Ziggy on the bench as long as he's fit. He and Lovenkrands offer different options to change a game up. Real shame about Caddis and hope Morrison gets a chance and Curtis gets his mojo back to.
