Hearing that Szczesny could be out for 3 months with ankle ligament injury. If that is the case, then Manone will most likely to be our keeper going into New years. Time for Manone to make the no1 his now.
I'll admit, Manone still doesn't make me feel comfortable with his catching at times, but its hell of alot better than Fabiasnki, who btw is our best shot stopper, but mentally weak as anything.
Manone has the mentality to go ahead and put in performances of what a no1's should be.
Manone no1 for now!

I just looked at his page. The guy asked if there was any news on Szczesney today and 2 minutes later says 'expect him to be out for the forseeable future'. Obvious WUM, just a AFCamden wannabe

He suffered the injury just before Southampton and still played so I'd be surprised if he's out for 3 months.

Remember when Fabianski was injured before the City match and then played it only to miss the rest of the season through injury

Yeah I remember that, it's crazy how even our keepers our injury prone. I think in 3 of the last 4 seasons we've gone down to our 3rd/4rd choice keeper.

wenger should have signed an experienced back up keeper....once again he gambled and lost
---
How exactly has he "lost"? If the gamble is relying on Mannone as backup then he has only conceded one goal, and that a penalty.
Looks like a win to me so far.

If he can walk even if injured, 3 months out would seem ridiculous.
