John Pantsil

Fourth Official on Twitter has said:

'Tweeted this morning that there was major interest, I now people John Pantsil to #LCFC will happen'.

Fourth Official has been a bit hit and miss over targets recently. He did say that Routledge was a done deal but now it seems he's off to Swansea but he must know something to say that.

I remember that Pantsil was linked a while back but wages were a stumbling block and then Peltier was signed so I wonder what this suggests about Sven's opinion of Peltier or maybe he was always signed as a back up/utility player?

I'd be happy with this signing but only if we haven't caved in to his wage demands and he hasn't held us to ransom over them.

I'm sure this will prove to be another reliable signing should it take place - not every signing is going to be overwhelming and sometimes you need unsung heroes to do the basics well - I think Pantsil would fit the bill as a good utility player.

The point is, you need to have 2 right backs, and at the minute, we dont.

I imagine Peltier has been signed as a squad player, to be cover for A.N Other, Hopefully Vitor to play right back.
