Guardiola's team next season

I think he could possibly line us up in a Barcelona style 4-3-3 formation

---------------------------Cech------------------------------------------
Ramires------Ivanovic-------Terry----------Cole-------
------------------------Luiz---------------------------------
----------DeBruyne------------------------------------
------------------------------Oscar---------------------
Mata--------------------------------------------------Hazard
------------------------Moses---------------

2nd Team

----------------------------------Courtois-----------------------------------
Azpilicueta---------Chalobah---------Cahill--------------bertrand
---------------------------------Romeu------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------McEachran---------------
--------------------------Piazon----------------------------------
Sturridge-------------------------------------------------Marin
-------------------------------Torres----------------------------

I think Victor Moses can definitly play up top as a "False 9" if you like, he has played there on several occasions both at crystal palace and at Wigan, he is actually a very good finisher.

DeBruyne is also a fantastic player and a very good passer of the ball, he has a great attitude on the pitch always very busy on the pitch always looking for the ball and looking to get involved (unlike Mikel who just waits until he has to be involved- if that makes sense). he will need to work on the defensive side of hes game though.

Ramires as a right back as passing is not the best part of hes game and Guardiola's philosophy is based around dominating possession in midfield with their passing, I feel he can be our very own Dani Alves, marauding the right flank all game, afterall Alves probably spends 75% of the match in the oppositions half and one ramires's best games for chelsea was as a right back against barcelona after the sending off plus Mata on the right attack will always look to drift into the central areas of the pith

I dont think Lampard or Mikel would fit into this style o.f system, and thats why i have not included either of them.

what do you guys think.

I believe so too, but I just dont see us winning any trophies this yr under RDM unfortunately, I have nothing against the guy, I actually do like him for all he's given to this club both as a player and manager, but I also think he lacks The tactical nous to take us to the next level and get the best of the talent at he's disposal.

I find it hard to actually disagree with any of this

Yeah but you're the guy who said that Torres would get 30 this season.

I think you have missed my point, I'm not saying that's he's best position, my point is playing him there gives balance to the team, and if we are to play the attractive pass-and-move football like Barcelona or Spain then neither of Mikel, Lampard or Ramires can play in the midfield, unless we play a 4-2-3-1 formation then I think Ramires can play in the double-pivot alongside a holding midfielder Romeu.

Thank you oscar11 for at least trying to understand my point.

Guardiola's team will defo be;

--------------Curtois-------------
Azpi----Cahil(C)----Luiz-----Cole/Bert
-------------Romeu--------------------
------Mata----------Oscar-------------
----Hazard---Piazon---Marin/Moses

Piazon and Moses wouldn't start for us at CF.

With our current team and how he played for Barce last season, would probably be:

Courtois
Luiz Terry Cahill
Azpili Oscar Romeu Bertrand?
Mata Hazard Marin/Moses/Sturridge
