Mourinho's men of 2005 or the Invincibles?
Genuine question?
Chelsea conceded 15 goals all season compared to Arsenal's 26, got 5 more points (record) and only scored one fewer goal.
But Arsenal were unbeaten, whereas Chelsea lost one game.
Which is it?
Vote? If you say so...
1 star Chelsea
5 star Arsenal
Who was better...

Absolutely no question. The Invincibles were the better of the two. It is the best achievement in Premier League history! When someone beats that record then we can discuss which team is better. But until then, respect the team that went not just a season unbeaten, but 49 games unbeaten! Superb achievement! But don't be jealous. That's only a sign of weakness!

Winning is the name of the game, so i will go for Chelsea coz the won more trophies. 49 games unbeaten for that Arsenal team was simply incredible, special and probably will be the only team that will achieve that. So repect, but if you think that team could win the league playing the same season as Mourinho Chelsea, then you are deluded. We held the most points till now, best defence till now and won more games. Alot of other fans come up with the regular drivel of u have been a chelsea fan since 04 but alot of us we have been chelsea fans since 93. So i give that Arsenal team due respect coz it had pure quality. Saw almost 95 % of Arsenal games from 97 to 04. Just can`t see another Arsenal team close to that team.

Biggest fan for Marc Overmars Still got his poster. Also a Kanu fan, that Arsenal team was one of the greatest squad, but if you question the Chelsea 05 team especially Jose as the Coach, then you are deluded.

Chelsea were defensive and all about 1-0 wins it's a good formula but playing with a bit of flair and class is special! That's why this current Barca side is so memorable!

Therefore Arsenal were the better side! Going to rainy, poor, tough pitches and stadiums and refusing to lose all 38 games is remarkable!

Football has changed completely. Going to the games, to the pub just the all spectrum. We used to go to arsenal home games or to man u coz you wanna see a good game not because i am a chelsea fan so i can`t go see pires and overmars play. People have lost touch. Anyways now i live in a world of super bowl and whatever the heck they call it. Can`t stand that crap of a game.

Only seriously biased supporters would go for Arsenal. The tag invincible is a joke , Preston were invincible, Arsenal were just undefeated in the league.

If you can't be beaten you're pretty much invincible if I was entertained and excited to watch Chelsea play each week in 05 I'd say them but I just didn't care the most entertainment I got from their games was Mourinho's post match interviews. They were a well organised team but not better than the Invincibles if you ask me.

But in you're (and this does make me laugh)" invincible season " didn't you lose to Utd and Borough ?.....So were you invincible except for those games?

Arsenal were unbeaten, but drew loads of games. They were a very good side, but far from the best ever Prem side. They would struggle to make it in my top 2 Arsenal sides!
1. United 99
2. Arsenal 99
3. Chelsea 05
