“As manager I’ve got to carry on and if new investment comes in then it might change my targets. We’re looking at targets but they’re players we’d need to take on permanently. We’d sign them first for 93 days from around the 27th (of September) and that would take them through to January.
“That date’s after this weekend’s game but before the next league match hopefully. I’m assured that there are on-going talks and people are working hard to change the finances. Hopefully we’ll get some good news in the next 10 days or couple of weeks.
Maybe an insight that money will be available for NW soon. If this is the case maybe the season isnt over afterall.

I can assure you I'm anything but miserable, whereas Towtown is so miserable he even went off in exile to whine about the Leeds board, but where Bates is concerned there is little room for optimism, or do you like what you see at ER?

Towton - i empathise 100% with u.
Just relieved that other people see him for what he is bcuz he constantly twists things & has a little posse to back him up.
Having said that, i will give credit to SD for his earlier comment bcuz he's spot on really & we could all do with taking heed of his comments particulary me.
