Who remembers Forlan's double at Anfield 02/03? Brilliant memories against Liverpool.
Goals at 2:10 and 3:30, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BS8l7tcBBdw
..And O'Shea's best United moment ever 06/07 season? In front of the Kop !

We went to Anfield in March of the 1992/93 season and won 2-1 with goals from Hughes and McClair. That was obviously our first title win in 26 years so a pretty significant win over Liverpool who we'd go onto overtake as the dominant force in English football.
Arab
December 2007 was in the 2007/08 season.

When did we beat them in 07/08? I thought our last win in all comps was in December 2007

And Tevez got the winner, in 07, in the 07-08 season.

First memories of Anfield was Boxing day 1986. Norman Whiteside scored in a 1-0 win. No proper TV highlights then so just got the result read out on the evening news. That was our first (and only!) away win that season!
Worst memory was when we got beat 2-0 in 1992 which made Leeds champions.

My worst memory at Anfield was in the 01/02 season, Gerrard smacks in a screamer then Riise goes and betters him from the freekick, Barthez had no chance.

Sitting in the Anfield Road end when frank stapleton headed the only goal of the game was good, despite having to bite my lip and sit on my hands.
Biggest low was dirty ince equalising in 99 and celebrating like hed just won the european cup. Twot.

the one and only time i've cried over a game of football was when ince scored in 99 (i was eight, at the time). genuinely thought it would cost us the league that season, and with it, the treble.

ole are you 21 now or 22 now. we must be similar age.
Anyway I remember that fa cup semi-final last minute penalty for arsenal and schmeichel saved and we won it even with 10 men I believe in extra time.
I think this season could be one like 99. Teams got good strikers, big squad. I remember the man utd 2-2 leicester game where beckham scored a late free kick. I was not happy with the draw but took it at the start of the season. I hope we can win the treble this season fuelled on the season before failure identical in terms of 97-98 type season.

also funnily enough our 2 late goals against liverpool in the fa cup that season paved the way to follow our season fuelled on big drama late goals and nail biting finishes. Come to think of it I felt as gutted in 97-98 as I did last season when man utd allowed a big lead to finish with nothing.
