Liverpool - Wednesday

So far this season our home record is as follows.

P - 3
W - 3
D - 0
L - 0
For - 6
Against - 0

So our home performances are making the Hawthorns a real fortress for us at the moment.

A little break from league action on Wednesday and the visit of Liverpool, a team who we have already beat this season, in the cup.

I think we should rotate the squad a little in preperation for a big derby match at Villa next week. But we now have the squad to rotate and still have the quality to come through.

Team -

GK - Foster

RB - Jones
CB - Dawson
CB - Olsson
LB - Popov (if fit)

DM - Yacob
DM - Mulumbu

LW - Rosenberg
CM - Dorrans
RW - Brunt

S - Long

OUT
Odemwingie (banned)
Thomas (injured)
Popov (injured?)
Reid (injured)

CHANGES
Dawson for McAuley - Give GMac a rest. He's been brilliant for us and we need him fit for Villa
Popov for Ridgewell - If fit, give the new boy a game and see what he can do. Also gives Ridge a deserved rest
Rosenberg for Gera - Rosenberg deserves some game time, apparently been very impressive in training.
Dorrans for Morrison - Morrison is vital to the team so must be saved for Villa, especially considering he took a knock yesterday. Also gives Dozza some deserved game time.
Long for Lukaku - Long gave the Pool defence nightmares a few weeks back and looked impressive coming off the bench yesterday. Also gives Lukaku a chance to freshen up for Villa.
Other than that i'd like to see El Ghanassy on the bench and get abit of time.

Prediction -

WBA 2-1 Liverpool AET

Come on Baggies

Yeah I did but you lost midweek

Time will tell Baggies. You were better for periods of the game granted but a draw was fair.

Your bad run will come

You didn't even call that right. You said 'you may lose tonight'

I know we'll have a bad patch somewhere down the line. Luckily i think we've got the squad and spirit to come through it though.

We've still got our best player to come back aswell

That said i don't think you'll go down.

Legue is taking a familiar shape tbh. Reading, QPR, Norwich, Soton, Swansea will be the relo battle this year.
