The prospect of a combination with Walker-- Kaboul--Caulker--Vertongen is mouthwatering. And I cannot wait.

Vertonghen was easily MOTM for me.
Not only was he superb defensively, but he was a real threat in attack, particularly when he moved to LB.
My first impressions when we got this guy was that he was classy but perhaps a little bit lightweight (at least initially) but after a short settling in period he seems to have effectively adapted.

I would if you believe the OT game is a waste of space.
Let Brad have a day off, and if Lloris wants his time ...

Spurtle - think Dempsey was left first half with Sig in the hole but it was hard to tell as I don't think either of them really got involved.

Yeah that was probably it.
Anyway I think he's yet to have an impact. The rest of the new signings have had MOTM displays so far. Dembele against Norwich, Dempsey against Lazio, and Vert today. Still waiting for Sigs to have a good game.
