What A Performance!

I hate the saying 'one man team' but that Halsey was pulling all the strings for the Red Devils today. Nothing got past him. Man Utd looked a different team with him on the pitch - confident of a good result.

But seriously guys, Liverpool were quality. We know they didn't deserve to lose. the red card was unfair - completely 50/50 and Evans was in fact the man with two feet heading into the challenge. The penalty is actually laughable.

The way we passed the ball around, the way we closed down. We played the entire first half in Man Utd's half. Man Utd couldn't hold onto the ball. Very very encouraging!

Suso getting his first Premier League start - he was awesome. Sterling again influential. The midfield were completely dominant. It really is a case of other than the result you couldn't fault the performance except perhaps Agger's error that lead to the penalty - but this was with 10 men so who knows had the extra man been there might not have happened.

Quality all round. Rodgers is doing it so so right. We are getting better every game. When problems are identified by us fans here and elsewhere Rodgers seems to fix the problems by the next match, which is refreshing after the stubbornness of the King.

Once again, it was a great performance.
