The Shebby effect?

Are we seeing a shift of power behind the scenes at Ewood? I like many others laughed when the suggestion was that Kean would be booted if he didn't get 16 points from the first 7 games. I couldn't see us anywhere near that target, but thought it would be total hot air and that he'd be with us to the bitter end (relegation to league 1).

However, it looks like there might be some foundation to the claims. Even if he keeps his job, it looks like he's very close to the door now. The owners have 'spent' £8m on a player and finally, they are not going to tolerate poor football, home losses and 13k crowds it would seem.

Some of this must be down to Shebby Singh. Kean says that it was him who saw the new players (what a find Nunes is) and it's well known that they don't see eye to eye.

If he is relieved of his duties now, we are close to the top and should see the return of thousands of fans. I am less concerned about exactly who replaces him, it has long been my opinion that ANYONE could produce better performances and results with this group of players.

For what its worth, McCarthy would be the man for me. I'd love to see Harry Redknapp come up North, but there's not enough money to satisfy him and his dog's got business in monaco to attend to.
