Journalism!

Possibly the best article of the year?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/liverpool/9561203/Liverpool-advert-reveals-Anfields-delusions-of-grandeur.html

A accurate review from what I would assume to be a non-Liverpool Football Club supporting journalist with quite a clever head on his shoulder.

Wow! A lot of hate.

And the poolmyfingers of this world don't even see how they're playing up to the type that the article talks about

Is this poolmyfinger, the American Liverpool fan who hopes to visit Anfield one day that mocks United for having a large overseas fan base that have never been to Old Trafford?

What a whopper.

Liverpool are a perfect example of why a club shouldn't sit on its backside and watch the world go by

It's bad pointless stupid journalism. It isn't disgusting though. You can't cite Hillsborough every time there's a critical piece in the paper.

^ I agree with this although it wouldn't have hurt to wait a week before publishing the article!

------------

It's a review of a recent TV show, "Liverpool Football Club" chose the the timing of the show, stands to eason the review would be fairly soon after

Madge, that sort of obvious thinking is beyond the ones that're quite accurately described in that review

I understand that but I still think it's a bit of a case of kicking people when they are down. Even if the review had waited a few days that would have been better but I agree that it's no biggie really.

When you review every other tv programme within a day or two, why the need to wait longer for this one?

The Hillsborough revelations of the truth were a week before that, yes, but that tragedy was 23 years earlier.

IF LFC were concerned, which I dount they were, couldn't they have delayed the broadcast of the programme? Afterall, the date of the revelations was announced weeks earlier wasn't it?

It's funny how every LFC fan on this thread is playing up to the type portrayed in the review, and yet I sense no sense of irony in their words.
